Getting to DFDS Seaways Ferry Terminals by Bus

We offer bus connections in Newcastle and Amsterdam, the ideal way to make your way between the City Centres and the Ferry Ports.
Our buses in Newcastle are easily identified by the DFDS Seaways logo on their sides. Taking you from our port in North Shields to Newcastle city centre, they cost from as little as £3 per person each way (£2 per child).
These are scheduled to coincide with our ship arrival and departure times, taking typically 20-30 minutes, depending on the city traffic.
Buses drop off and pick-up at the Central Station. You should only take as much luggage as you can carry yourself.

Coaches operated by our partner OAD Reizen take you from our port in IJmuiden to Amsterdam city centre, from as little as £6 per person each way.
These are organised to coincide with our ship arrival and departure times and take 30-40 minutes, depending on the city traffic.
Coaches bound for the port leave the centre of Amsterdam every 10 minutes between 15.00hrs - 16.00hrs. Coaches drop off and pick-up outside the Victoria Hotel in Amsterdam, directly opposite the plaza outside the Central Station.
