Getting to/from the Port From £3 each way

Look for the famous blue & white logo - and get to the centre of Newcastle quickly and easily after your ferry cruiseOur buses in Newcastle are easily identified by the DFDS Seaways logo on their sides. Taking you from our port in North Shields to Newcastle city centre, they cost from as little as £3 per person each way (£2 per child).

These are scheduled to coincide with our ship arrival and departure times, taking typically 20-30 minutes, depending on the city traffic.
 
Buses drop off and pick-up at the Central Station. You should only take as much luggage as you can carry yourself.

Newcastle Central Station - International Ferry Terminal

Newcastle - Holland:  Buses will depart 2½ and 1¼ hours before ships departure.

Newcastle - Norway:  Buses will depart 1 hour before ship's departure

International Ferry Terminal - Newcastle Central Station
