Driving Directions:

From the M25:
Drivers should leave at junction 28 and follow the A12 (north) signposted Chelmsford and Colchester. At Colchester (Ardleigh Interchange) turnoff the A12 onto the A120 following signs for Harwich.

The road becomes a single carriageway at Horsley Cross Roundabout. proceed for 6 miles until you reach Ramsey Hill Roundabout. Follow signs for Harwich International Port.

Proceed for another 2 miles until you reach the roundabout - in the middle of the map (right).

As shown, go straight over this roundabout, and then go Left at the next roundabout, passing Morrisons on your right hand side, and a retail park on your left, go straight over the next two mini roundabouts, passing the freight entrance and storage yards on your right.

Pass the Total Petrol station on your left and proceed straight over the roundabout into the check in lanes.

From the North:
It is easiest to use the A14 towards Felixstowe/Ipswich. At Ipswich join the A12(south) towards Colchester. At Colchester join the A120 and follow as above.

TRAIN & BUS CONNECTIONS:

From London Liverpool Street 'one' railway operates trains leaving approximately every hour, arriving in Harwich International 90 minutes later. The station is just outside the ferry terminal building. Trains also connect Harwich with the rest of the UK; see link on right.

Trains & buses from Stansted Airport:
Harwich International can be reached in about 2 hrs 30 mins from Stansted Airport train station. Alternatively, the X22 bus from Stansted Airport to Colchester train station takes 1 hour - where the train can be taken to Harwich International (30 mins). This option may save time and money.
