Ribe Byferie is just 40 minutes from our port in Esbjerg, on Denmark’s west coast, and is ideal for a short relaxing break with the family.

Your self-catering apartment, with all the home comforts you’d expect, is a great base from which to enjoy the holiday centre’s facilities, as well as explore the surrounding area.

The medieval town of Ribe has many exciting museums, shops, restaurants and well-preserved buildings. Head to the Viking centre where the Viking Age comes alive - meet the craftsmen and taste the meals from yesteryear, or visit the debtors’ prison in The Old Town Hall, where you can see the executioner’s sword amongst other exhibits.

Discover more about the nature and wildlife of the nearby Waddensea and marshlands at the Waddensea centre or take a trip to the beautiful Mandø island, with its unique birdlife, on the tractor-drawn bus.

For some beautiful white sandy beaches, head to Rømø island or Fanø - which you can explore on foot, bike or horseback.

About your accommodation

The apartments at Ribe Byferie centre are tastefully furnished. Each contains a hallway, a kitchen with stove, fan-assisted oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and a selection of pots, pans and tableware.

In the living room, there is a double sofa bed, a television/radio and a telephone with its own direct phone number. Each home has a bathroom with a large shower and a cosy outdoor patio or a balcony.

13:00	Arrive in Esbjerg. Begin the 40 minute drive to Ribe. Check-in for your accommodation is from 15:00, however, for an extra charge you are able to check-in from 12:00. Enquire at the reception for more information.
Day 3
	Enjoy your stay in Ribe, explore the area and take advantage of the Ribe Byferie's great facilities.
Day 4
10:00	Check-out is from 10:00, however, this can be extended to 12:00 for an extra charge. Enquire at the reception for more information.
10:30	You may like to explore this wonderful area of Denmark further on the drive back to Esbjerg.
17:15	Arrive at the terminal for check-in and boarding.
18:30	Depart Esbjerg for Harwich.
Day 5
12:00	Arrive in Harwich.
