Ferry Company Launches Search For Next Top Models

Date published: 14 June 2011

Dover – Dunkirk ferry operator DFDS Seaways (formerly Norfolkline) is looking for members of the public to feature in the company’s new marketing campaign.

The ferry company is opening invitations this month to any member of the public to apply for the onboard shoot, which will take place in Dover on one of the company’s three ferries in July.

Andrew Kelly, Marketing and PR ManagerAndrew Kelly, Marketing and PR Manager for the DFDS Seaways English Channel route, said:

We are looking for the new faces of our future promotional campaigns and we thought what better place to look than to our customers!

We are not looking for professional models – we would just like to hear from real couples and families who are relaxed and comfortable in front of a camera and would be happy for their photos to appear in our future promotions.”

If you would like to take part, please send a picture of yourself and your partner, or family, to competitions@norfolkline.com before 24 June 2011.

Successful applicants will be contacted by the company to arrange a casting session, as well as the photo shoot itself, and will also receive a free return crossing on its Dover – Dunkirk route for a car and up to five passengers.

DFDS Seaways sails from Dover – Dunkirk every two hours, seven days a week and crossings take just two hours. For more information about DFDS Seaways, or to find out about the latest sailing times and book tickets, visit www.dfdsseaways.co.uk or telephone 0871 574 7241.
