3-night ‘Search for Eagles’ Mini Cruise to Denmark – departs Harwich from £150pp (based on 2 sharing)

Spot wild eagles, buzzards and falcons, as well as dolphins, seals and much more on this fully guided Mini Cruise. On the relaxing cruise to Denmark look out for the rare white-beaked dolphin, as well as common and grey seals and enjoy the interactive presentations.

On arrival, you’ll visit the island of Fanø, famous for its beautiful beaches and abundant wildlife, as well as visiting a string of important wildlife refuges for birds of prey. Here you’ll spot thousands of barnacle geese, watch exotic waxwings feed on winter berries and find time for lunch in a traditional Danish village.

The following day, your bird watching tour continues as you are taken by coach to a number of important wildlife refuges for white-tailed sea eagles, rough legged buzzards and other extraordinary birds of prey, making this one bird watching tour not to be missed.

Here you’ll discover why birds share our passion for travel, and watch thousands of birds in action as they make their fuel stops en route between their wintering and breeding grounds. Denmark’s largest colony of common and grey seals is also on the agenda, plus there is time to explore old Scandinavian villages before your relaxing cruise home.

Led by officers from whale and dolphin charity ORCA, you’ll take part in deck watches, enjoy lively presentations and be able to learn more in the onboard ORCA centre. All this before a day’s sightseeing in Amsterdam.
