DFDS Seaways Pushes the Boat Out with Free Mini Cruises for Local Charity
To celebrate its company birthday, DFDS Seaways is giving away Mini Cruise breaks to Amsterdam - all you have to do is make a donation to local charity, Children North East.
Everyone who books on the Charity Mini Cruise decides whether to donate £25, £35 or £50 per person, which goes directly to Children North East. And that’s all you pay.
The Charity Mini Cruises depart from Newcastle on 22nd and 23rd November and include two nights onboard ship, coach transfers to and from Amsterdam city centre and the best part of a day in the Dutch capital with a complimentary sightseeing tour. Relax as soon as you step onboard and make the most of the delicious restaurants, live entertainment, bars, casino and cinema, before retiring for a peaceful night’s sleep in your cosy en suite cabin.
Children North East is the region’s longest established children’s charity providing vital help and emotional and practical support to families with young children who are facing difficulties.
This is the fourth year that DFDS Seaways have supported Children North East by donating all money raised from the Charity Cruises directly to the charity – last year we raised more than £8,000.
It’s a privilege for DFDS Seaways to be able to support such a worthwhile charity and put something back into our local community, it’s also a great way for customers to enjoy a fantastic trip to Amsterdam whilst making a worthwhile donation to a good cause.
Catrina Flynn, Fundraising and PR Manager for Children North East added: “Over the last three years DFDS Seaways have given us tremendous support enabling us to continue to help young people and their families across the region. We are grateful to all who donate and continue to support us.”
