DFDS Seaways is celebrating success for the second time this year after being awarded the prestigious accolade of ‘World’s Leading Ferry Operator’ at the World Travel Awards last night (12th December).
Following on from winning ‘Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator’ by the European leg of the 2012 World Travel Awards in October, DFDS Seaways was bestowed its latest gong at a gala ceremony held in New Delhi, India.
The World Travel Awards are considered to be the Oscars of the travel and tourism industry, and votes are cast by industry professionals and consumers from around the globe. The ‘World’s Leading Ferry Operator’ award recognises DFDS Seaways’ commitment to excellence over the last 12 months and the gold winner’s trophy received will be displayed proudly by the cruise ferry operator as a sign to customers of its continual dedication to delivering high quality service.
This is the second year running that DFDS Seaways has been bestowed the honour of the ‘World’s Leading Ferry Operator’ by the World Travel Awards and it is the sixth time the company has been recognised for excellence by the organisation.
