Book your Ferry to France with DFDS Seaways and Cruise to Amsterdam for Free

Award-winning ferry operator, DFDS Seaways, has launched its latest sizzling summer offer on the Channel. All passengers booking a return ferry crossing for a car and up to nine people on its Dover-Dunkirk or Dover-Calais routes before 25 August will be eligible to receive a free 2-night mini cruise to Amsterdam on its Newcastle-Amsterdam route.

The offer is valid for those travelling to France between 9 September and 13 December 2013. Passengers making a booking during the offer period will receive a voucher for one person to claim a free 2-night mini cruise to Amsterdam, which is valid for travel on selected departures between October 2013 and March 2014. Passengers can also add up to three extra people to their booking (from £79 for 1 extra person, from £90 for 2 extra people and from £96 for 3 extra people), enabling them to stay in a private 2-berth or 4-berth en suite cabin. Single bookers will stay in a shared single sex en suite cabin.

Max Foster, UK passenger director for DFDS Seaways commented: “Our Newcastle-Amsterdam ships are called cruise ferries as they are designed for passengers taking longer trips on the North Sea. They are equipped with a range of fantastic facilities, including restaurants offering delicious, freshly prepared meals, as well as a range of onboard entertainment, including live bands and a cinema.

“We hope this offer will not only provide an extra incentive to travel with us on the Channel, but will also give customers an insight into some of our other services from the UK, as well as a great reason to travel to Holland in a luxurious and relaxed atmosphere.”

Other facilities onboard DFDS Seaways’ cruise ferries to Amsterdam include a casino, retail shops and a kids’ club with a ball pool and cartoons. The mini cruise package includes two nights in a comfortable cabin onboard the cruise ferry, as well as coach transfers to and from the port to the heart of Amsterdam. Passengers can then enjoy a day exploring the canals, cafés, museums and shopping in this vibrant city before catching a coach and returning ferry from Holland back to Newcastle.
