National Ferry Fortnight 2013

Get Ferry Familiar with DFDS Seaways’ Fantastic Deals to France, Holland and Denmark during National Ferry Fortnight

DFDS Seaways is offering a 20% discount on its award-winning ferry routes to Europe during this year’s National Ferry Fortnight (NFF) which runs from March 2nd-16th. NFF is the ferry industry’s annual awareness campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the joy and benefits of ferry travel.

The 20% discount offer is valid for all ferry crossings booked during NFF, on DFDS Seaways Dover–Dunkirk, Dover–Calais, Newcastle–Amsterdam, Harwich–Esbjerg, routes for travel on selected departures until 31st October 2013.* This means that ferry tickets for a car and up to four passengers start at less than £24 each way on the Channel and £116 each way for a car and four passengers on the North Sea.

DFDS Seaways is also offering a fantastic 40% discount on its 2-night mini cruises to Amsterdam sailing from Newcastle and Esbjerg in Denmark sailing from Harwich. So you can enjoy a short getaway from only £47 per person. Available on selected departures until 31st October.**

Max Foster, UK passenger director at DFDS Seaways, said: “National Ferry Fortnight is a great initiative, which is why we have created these special offers to help encourage more people to travel via ferry. Whether you’re looking for a short break with your partner or a fuss-free family trip, ferry travel is a relaxing, affordable and easy way to travel.

“We find that many people who are new to ferry travel, or haven’t travelled by ferry for a long time, are pleasantly surprised by the smooth, hassle-free experience, compared to many other forms of international transport these days. And having the convenience of taking your own car away with you means you not only have no baggage restrictions, but you can also leave your luggage tucked safely in your car, without having to drop and collect it or carry it with you everywhere.”

All DFDS Seaways ferries are equipped with a range of high quality onboard facilities, which range from dedicated children’s areas to onboard shops, bars and restaurants, so your holiday starts as soon as you board the ferry.

DFDS Seaways operates up to 44 sailings a day between Dover and France, four daily sailings between Newhaven to Dieppe, two daily sailings between Portsmouth and Le Havre as well as daily sailings between Newcastle and Amsterdam and up to four crossings a week between Harwich and Esbjerg.
