DFDS Seaways is the leading North Sea ferry operator with strong brand name and recognition across Europe and Scandinavia. DFDS Seaways provides a range of products and services including passenger ferry crossings, mini cruises, short city breaks and holidays, all of which you can easily link to and promote via your own website(s). By joining the DFDS Seaways affiliate programme you will earn generous commission for each booking you refer, as well as having access to numerous incentives and product promotions.

To become an affiliate of DFDS Seaways, you simply need to register with either of our affiliate network partners; Affiliate Window or Tradedoubler. The registration and signup process is quick and easy so you can join our affiliate programme and start promoting us almost immediately!

There is no charge for joining either DFDS Seaways programme. You can join Tradedoubler for free. There is an initial £5 charge when you first join Affiliate Window, however you will receive this back within your first affiliate commission payment.

The affiliate payment terms vary between network, so you should check with the network you join with. Typically you will receive your commission payments monthly, in a single payment. buy.at affiliate payments are made monthly, but payments are two months behind i.e. commission earned in January, would typically be paid to you in March. Payments from Affiliate Window will normally reach you by the 29th of the month.

Your affiliate commission payment will usually be made by BACS. In some cases you can receive payment by cheque. Affiliate Window affiliates also have access to a pre-paid Debit MasterCard payment facility so you can receive your payments faster, cheaper and safer than other methods. You can sign up to this via your Affiliate Window account or contact them for further information.

You can link to any part of the DFDS Seaways website, using the affiliate tracking codes provided by your chosen affiliate network. You can link to DFDS Seaways through text links, banners and/or images. You can use a standard tracking link which will direct your site visitors to the DFDS Seaways homepage, or you can deep link to a particular page on the DFDS Seaways website. Deep linking to particular and the most relevant page will often increase your conversion rates. Please see the examples below of tracking links for each network;

You can use the DFDS Seaways logo on your website. We also provide a range of regularly updated creative banners for you to use. If you have any specific requests for bespoke creative designs or sizes please contact us and we will provide these for you. We can also provide you with a selection of images to support your content and promotion of DFDS Seaways.

You can use content on the DFDS Seaways website as a basis for your own website content. We would however always recommend that you create unique content to use on your own website. Please contact us if you would like unique content written for your site and we can provide this for you.

As an international brand with huge customer base throughout northern Europe and Scandinavia, DFDS Seaways is the only ferry operator with a service between the UK and Denmark. DFDS Seaways operates 3 routes; Newcastle to Holland/Amsterdam, Harwich to Denmark/Esbjerg and Denmark/Copenhagen to Norway/Oslo Routes from both the North and South of the UK, providing opportunities to promote to a wide population, including Scotland.

DFDS Seaways operates five modern cruise ferry ships, all offering an unrivalled service including fine dining, entertainment and comfort. It is one of Scandinavia’s largest ‘Hotel chains’ with over 8,800 ‘bed nights’ every night during summer and parking facilities for over 2,500 cars.

Customers can save a minimum £10 by booking with DFDS Seaways online, avoiding offline booking fees through the call centre. The programme has a dedicated full-time Affiliate Manager who will assist you in promoting DFDS Seaways. Plus there are always opportunities to win extra prizes through our regular programme incentives.

It is possible to register more than one website with our affiliate programme. You can either choose to operate all of your websites through one single affiliate account, or you may prefer to create separate accounts for each website so you can monitor traffic levels and revenue etc separately.

Any affiliate found using unauthorised Spyware or Adware whilst a member of the DFDS Seaways affiliate programme will be removed immediately. DFDS Seaways does also not accept any affiliate sites that contain or link to sexually explicit material, sites that contain or promote any form of violence and/or other illegal activities, sites that discriminate against age, race, religion, sex, nationality, sexual orientation etc.

Once you have been accepted to our affiliate programme on either Tradedoubler or Affiliate Window you will have access to your own personal affiliate account, from which you will be able to check your stats as and when you wish. Both networks provide comprehensive and in-depth statistics of your activity in easy to navigate formats.

DFDS Seaways does not allow any affiliate to sponsor brand keywords, misspells, or variations of the brand, including; DFDS, DFDS Seaways, DFDS Lisco Line, DFDS Tor Line, DFDS Container Line, DFDS Suardiaz Line, DFDS Lys Line, SpeedCargo, Halléns, Seaways, Lisco Line, Tor Line, Container Line, Suardiaz Line, Lys Line or any obvious misspelling of these words e.g. ddfs.

Affiliates are also not permitted to use DFDS Seaways brand terms, variations and misspells within their URL, or link directly to the DFDS Seaways website. It is also prohibited to bid on keywords related to third parties with whom DFDS Seaways is a partner, including; Legoland, Center Parcs, Center Parcs Europe, Ibis, Croisi, Novasol, Danish Inns, Sun Parks, Marriott and Renaissance or any obvious misspelling of these words.

As DFDS Seaways is an international company, operating in a number of countries and markets, you may wish to promote DFDS Seaways in other European countries. DFDS Seaways operates services and affiliate programmes in Holland, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. In order to promote services provided by these countries you should contact the relevant market to join their affiliate programme.

DFDS Seaways does not currently provide voucher codes for affiliates to promote. We do however run many special offers and promotions throughout the year, which are suitable for voucher/discount affiliates to promote.
