Sassnitz Ferry Port
Sassnitz is on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen in North Germany and is connected to the mainland by bridge and is close to motorway and railway networks.
Coming from the direction of Hamburg
When you take highway A1 heading towards Lübeck, at the junction of Lübeck head towards highway A20, take Tribsees exit, turn right - to Clara - Zetkin street, turn left - to Karl Marx street, and then turn right - to route L192 (Suelzer Chaussee), and follow this street all the way to Steinhagen.
At Steinhagen turn left towards route B194 towards Stralsund, at Stralsund keep to the right, turn to Richtenberger Chaussee, turn right towards Koppelstrasse, and then turn left towards route B96n towards Ruegen.
From Stralsund Ruegendamm turn to route B96, just behind Lietzow village turn right towards B96b and follow this road all the way to Neu Mukran.
Coming from the direction of Neubrandenburg
When you take highway A20 heading towards Lübeck, at Grimmen - Ost exit turn towards B194 Steinhagen. At Steinhagen turn left towards route B194 towards Stralsund, at Stralsund keep to the right, turn to Richtenberger Chaussee, turn right towards Koppelstrasse, and then turn left towards route B96n towards Ruegen.
From Stralsund Ruegendamm turn to route B96, just behind Lietzow village turn right towards B96b and follow this road all the way to Neu Mukran.
By German railway
Go to the Sassnitz central railway station. From there, you can either take a bus towards Bergen/Goehren for approximately 5 bus stops, or you can take a taxi, which will take approximately 10 minutes.
