Travel updates | Dover-Dunkirk and Dover-Calais ferries

Everything you need to know for travel on DFDS Seaways' Dover-Dunkirk and Dover-Calais ferry services.


Travel information

All ferry services are operating to schedule with space currently available.

Road works near Dover port (19 May - 23 May) : Work on the A2 Jubilee Way bridge in Dover, Kent, will start on Saturday 19 May and is expected to be complete by the morning of Wednesday 23 May.

During this time the road will be closed in both directions between its junction with the A258 and the A20 (Eastern Docks roundabout) between 8pm and 6am on Saturday 19 May to Monday 21 May. Road users will be redirected via the A256 and A20. Between midnight on Tuesday and 6am Wednesday,2 lanes will be closed, with 1 lane open to traffic, and two-way traffic lights will be used to allow traffic to use the A2.

Dover check-in:

Customers will pass through Immigration and Port security before reaching the DFDS Seaways check-in.

Dover port information

Dunkirk check-in:

Customers will pass through Port security before reaching the DFDS Seaways check-in. Once check-in is completed customers will then continue through Immigration. When traveling with pets from Dunkirk you are required to check-in 60 minutes prior to departure to allow time for the pet procedures to be carried out.

Dunkirk port information

Calais check-in:

Customers will pass through Port security before reaching the DFDS Seaways check-in. Once check-in is completed customers will then continue through Immigration.

Calais port information
