Important updates

The relevant port check-in times for your departure can be found on your confirmation in local time. When travelling to the port, please allow adequate time in order to complete the check-in process. A minimum of 45 minutes prior to the sailing departure time for our ferry crossings on Eastern Channel routes; 90 minutes prior to the sailing departure time for ferry crossings on our Western Channel and Long Sea routes.

Newcastle - Amsterdam sailings

Tyne Pedestrian and Cyclist Tunnel refurbishment.

Please note that The Tyne Pedestrian and Cyclist Tunnels, between Howdon and Jarrow, will close for refurbishment work and excpected to re-open June 2015. A replacement shuttle bus will be in action throughout this period. For more info and scheduled shuttle bus times, please visit: http://www.tynepedestrianandcyclisttunnels.co.uk.

Dover - Dunkirk/Calais sailings

Amended Schedule: Dover Calais Services

DFDS Seaways regret to advise due to essential maintenance the following services have been cancelled on our Dover-Calais route on Sunday 23 November 2014

Exit Port Calais: 06:00

Exit Port Dover: 07:30

All affected customers confirmed on the cancelled services will be notified by DFDS Seaways. Alternatively customers with existing bookings can call our customer contact centre on 0344 848 6090 to discuss your travel arrangements

DFDS Seaways would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the rescheduling of our services.

DFDS Seaways incident of 09 November 2014.

DFDS Seaways can confirm that we have now been able to conduct a preliminary inspection and the ship is currently in dry dock. We expect the vessel to return to service on Friday 21st November and during this time a reduced schedule will be operated on our Dover-Dunkirk service.

All affected customers confirmed on the cancelled services will be notified by DFDS Seaways. Alternatively customers with existing bookings can call our customer contact centre on 0344 848 6090 to discuss your travel arrangements.

We would like to apologise to all our customers for any inconvenience caused during this time and underline that the safety of all passengers and crew is of paramount importance to us at DFDS Seaways. We are working closely with all affected customers, assisting with queries and alternative travel arrangements. 

Amended Schedule: Dover Calais Services

DFDS Seaways regret to advise due to operational reasons the following services have been cancelled on our Dover-Calais route between 03 December 2014 to 04 January 2015.

Dover to Calais: 00:30, 05:15, 10:15, 14:45, 19:15

Calais to Dover: 04:00, 09:00, 13:30, 18:00, 23:00

All affected customers confirmed on the cancelled services will be notified by DFDS Seaways. Alternatively customers with existing bookings can call our customer contact centre on 0344 848 6090 to discuss your travel arrangements.

Newhaven - Dieppe / Portsmouth - Le Havre sailings 

Newhaven - Dieppe sailings may be subject to alteration due to tidal restrictions.
