You’ll be spoilt for choice! You can also savour the hearty cooked breakfast buffet to fuel your start in Esbjerg.

It’s even easier to enjoy the food onboard if you book a table at your favourite restaurant in advance, so you can dine at a time of your convenience, and you won’t have to wait for a table.

Cycling in Denmark

Denmark is one of the most bicycle-friendly countries in the world. With nearly 7,500 miles of sign-posted cycle routes, and largely gentle terrain, bicycling is a fantastic way to see the sights of sounds of Denmark. Amenities tend to be very well distributed, so you’re never far from refreshments or interesting places to visit.

Laws that apply to cars in Demark tend to apply to bikes too, so follow the rules of the road, particularly in towns and cities. There are also some legal requirements specifically for cyclists:

  • Always use designated bike paths where available, and walk next to your bike in pedestrian areas
  • Every bicycle must have a bell on the handlebar to warn pedestrians and other cyclists
  • If cycling at night you must have headlamp and red tail-light
  • Always use a secure bike lock

If you strap your bicycles to your car, you can make use of Denmark’s great motorway links with other beautiful countries such as Sweden, Germany, and Norway
