Our modern cruise ferries travel from several UK and European destinations, providing a relaxing and enjoyable overnight group trip with total freedom.
The ferry from Harwich to Denmark (Esbjerg) travels up to four times a week (depending on season), and ferries to and from Holland departs daily in both directions. The ferry between Copenhagen and Oslo provides further access to Europe.
The selection of routes opens up a gateway to Europe, and when you arrive it's easy to explore the whole of Denmark or Holland and travel further onto the mainland, through Germany, Belgium, Sweden or beyond.
Each of DFDS Seaway's modern cruise ferries provides plenty of facilities to ensure you and your youth or school group have a fun trip.
We have facilities to keep children entertained during the crossing. Kids aged 4-8 can play in the onboard 'Kidz Club'. There are also cinemas onboard where your youth group can catch a recent cinema release. Onboard Sea shops provide an ideal opportunity to buy gifts for family and friends.
Each ferry also offers a variety of places to eat, from a scrumptious steak cooked to taste, a hot and cold 'all-you-can-eat' buffet or a superb à la carte restaurant.
Meals are available for a wide range of ages and bookings are discounted where the ratio of adults to young passengers is 1/10 or greater. It is recommended to book your meals in advance so your group are seated together and to see if you are entitled to any discounts.
Open up Europe to you and your car when you sail on our ferry to Holland from Newcastle. With popular European cities only a short drive away, Holland is the ideal location to start your journey into Europe.
