If you're a keen gardener, you will adore this combined trip to Wevershoof's famous Flower Festive and a Dutch tulip nursery.
On arrival in Holland the morning after your overnight ferry crossing, you and your partner will be transferred by coach to the Spring Flower Festival, where you will have several hours to admire the scintillating spectacle of blossoming bulb flowers, trees and shrubs plus some truly original and creative landscape designs.
Along with the wide range of garden designs, there is also a fair featuring arts and crafts, garden designs, inspiration for the home, including the chance to buy gifts, home wares, art, flowers and plants.
After several hours wandering around, you will board the coach and be transferred to the nursey. The nursery grows 7 million tulips between Christmas and Easter, and their experienced guides will take you on a fascinating 1 1/2 hour tour where you can learn just how they make Dutch tulips look so perfect, before returning to the coach to continue your voyage back to Newcastle.
