Baltic Sea routes

We have three routes across the Baltic Sea, ideal if you are travelling east. Our Kiel-Klaipeda route links Germany with Lithuania; Karlshamn-Klaipeda links Sweden with Lithuania and Kapellskär-Paldiski links Sweden and Estonia. 

The ships on all three routes offer a range of good facilities to ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable crossing.

Victoria Seaways

  • 1 Disabled Cabins:
  • Lifts: Suitable for normal sized wheelchairs 
    • Lifts: 203 cm x 180 cm, door width 93 cm. Only from deck 4 to 6. Access to lift from deck 4 only.Other access to passenger area is from deck 3 to deck 4 and from 4 to 5 – escalators only. 
  • Disabled Toilet Facilities: In cabins 
  • Disabled access available on/off ship:

Optima Seaways

  • Two disabled Cabins: 
  • Lifts: Suitable for normal sized wheelchairs from Deck 5
    • Lifts: measurements – 119 cm x 113 cm, door width – 75 cm. High threshold from deck 3 and 4 in order to reach lift. Small ramps next to the doors are provided. If vehicle is parked on deck 5 there is no need to use lift as cabins are located on deck 5. Entrance doors from deck 5 to passenger area – 75 cm.

Klaipeda-Kiel Route

Regina Seaways 

  • One disabled cabin:
  • Lifts: Suitable for normal sized wheelchairs
    • Lift: 203 cm x 180 cm, door width 93 cm. Only from deck 4 to 6. Access to lift from deck 4 only. Other access to passenger area is from deck 3 to deck 4 and from 4 to 5 – escalators only. Public toilets: 
  • Wheelchair-accessible public toilets on deck 5.

Athena Seaways 

  • One disabled cabin:
  • Lifts: Suitable for normal sized wheelchairs 
    • Lift 203cm x 180cm, door width 93cm. Only from deck 4-6. Access to lift from deck 4 only. Other access to passenger areas is from deck 3 to deck 4 and deck 4 - 5 is by excaltor only
  •  Wheelchair-accessible public toilets on deck 5.
  • Disabled access available on/off ship:

Paldiski-Kapellskär Route

Liverpool Seaways 

  • Two disabled cabins: 
  • Lifts: Suitable for normal sized wheelchairs 
    • Two lifts measuring 130 cm x 148 cm, door width – 78 cm. Attention - high threshold from deck 4 in order to reach lift. Small ramps next to the doors are provided.
  •  Wheelchair-accessible public toilets on deck 5.
  • Disabled access availble on/off ship:​
