DIESEL / PETROL The transport of petrol/diesel fuel cans onboard is specifically forbidden, full or empty. This is as stated in our T&C’s. We want to emphasise there is no shortage of diesel or petrol in North-East England or Scotland.

Terms & conditions for freight shipping until 31 December 2022

Terms and conditions for the transport of goods with DFDS are defined by law and by the North Sea Freight Conditions of Carriage (NSFCC), together with the Green Card. Details are available below or on request from your DFDS representative.

Please note: insurance covering transportation of cargo and articles of transport is not the responsibility of DFDS. Insurance should be arranged by the transporting customer.

Terms and conditions for Germany apply to logistics services provided by DFDS Germany ApS & Co. KG as agent to DFDS A/S.

Terms and conditions for UK apply to logistics services provided by DFDS entities based in the UK.

Terms and conditions for East apply to logistics services carried out fully or partly in the Baltic states, Eastern Europe, Russia and Asia.

General terms and conditions are applicable to all logistics services, except where the services are (i) provided by DFDS entities situated in UK or Germany or (ii) carried out fully or partly in the Baltic states, Eastern Europe, Russia and Asia.
