Agents given chance to attend Take That DFDS incentive

• DFDS launches new travel agent incentive to live Take That concert in Newcastle
Award-winning ferry operator, DFDS, has launched its latest travel agent incentive for bookings on its cruise ferry service between Newcastle and Amsterdam.

Eight lucky agents will win tickets to the legendary Take That live concert at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, on Friday 26 June, courtesy of DFDS. Included in the prize package are pre and post-show drinks as well as a buffet and snacks, all in DFDS’ private VIP suite.

To enter the competition, travel agents simply need to make a booking on DFDS’ Newcastle-Amsterdam route (excluding ITX and day sailings or events), and email the reference number along with their name to loves.travelagents@dfds.com. Winners will then be randomly selected over the next three months.

Take That is the UK’s most successful live act ever, and the trio will be performing with the amazing Ella Henderson in Newcastle.

Colin Fawcus, sales manager and head of retail at DFDS, comments; “This is really a thank you to some of our agent partners who work hard to promote our ferry service to Amsterdam and I’m looking forward to hosting eight agents in our private suite at the venue.”

DFDS operates a daily cruise ferry service from Newcastle to Amsterdam. Popular with people living in the north of England or Scotland, the comfortable and modern ships are designed to cater for passengers looking for an easy, hassle-free trip to Amsterdam and the rest of Continental Europe. Onboard there are four restaurants for passengers to enjoy delicious fresh food, including a steakhouse, an all-you-can-eat world-food buffet, the Blue Riband à la carte and the brand new ‘Little Italy’, Italian restaurant. There are also a number of bars with live music from a house band and acoustic troubadour, as well as shops, a cinema and play areas for children.
