DFDS launches Priority Boarding and Sea View Lounge Access
- Passengers can now book access to the Sea View Lounge and priority boarding for cars on Dover-Dunkirk service
Passengers travelling with award winning ferry operator, DFDS, can now upgrade their bookings to include access to the Sea View Lounge and priority boarding for cars on its Dover-Dunkirk service.
The newly rebranded Sea View Lounge provides the perfect setting for a relaxed crossing and includes a selection of complimentary hot and cold drinks. There is also free Wi-Fi access for those wanting to catch up on emails and browse the internet, or you can simply relax and watch the news on the TVs in the lounge. Access to the lounge is £8 per person, each way.
If you like to be ahead of the queue, then our priority boarding service is a great way to start your holiday as you’ll be one of the first cars to board and disembark, giving you more time to relax on board. Available for just £10 per car each way, simply add priority boarding when booking.
During your sailing with DFDS, you can enjoy a meal or snack in one of the onboard cafés or restaurants, shop for holiday essentials and luxuries, or relax as the children play in the dedicated children’s area, meaning your holiday starts as soon as you board.
DFDS sails up to 24 times a day between Dover and Dunkirk, providing passengers with flexible crossing times, a relaxing travel experience and convenient travel options.

Notes to Editors
Please note that the Sea View Lounge is not available to children under eight years old.
Priority boarding is limited to 20 slots per crossing and is only available for vehicles less than 2.4m high. You’ll need to check in no less than one hour before departure. Priority booking is also only valid on the departure that you book - if you move your departure time to another sailing on the day of travel (e.g. on the sailing prior to, or immediately after the one you have a reservation for) without making your amendment in advance via our call centre, you will be unable to transfer your Sea View Lounge access and priority boarding with your reservation.
