Festive Fiesta two-night mini cruise with DFDS from £99pp

The festive period is a time to get together with friends and family to celebrate. And what better place to do it than onboard a fun filled two-night mini cruise from Newcastle to Amsterdam, from just £99pp.

Award winning ferry operator, DFDS are offering festive mini cruises to Amsterdam so partygoers can enjoy a seasonal celebration with a difference.

Whether it’s a family festive get together, a seasonal catch-up with mates or a work Christmas party, spending it onboard a festive mini cruise to Amsterdam makes it more of an event than an evening out.

Complimentary fizz will be served to welcome groups onboard before they sample a delicious buffet meal in the restaurant. The night can be spent dancing, sipping cocktails or listening to some live music in the onboard bars. For those who like to stay up late, the onboard casino and club are open until the early hours. And when ready to rest their heads, passengers can retire to a comfortable, en suite, sea view cabin for a restful night of slumber.

A buffet breakfast will be served onboard before passengers head into Amsterdam on the complimentary transfer service. Visitors can see the beautiful city come to life through superb creative light installations in the 7th annual Amsterdam Light Festival or warm up with some glühwein at one of the many festive markets across the city. They can get their skates on for some ice skating on Rembrandtplein and marvel at the Christmas tree on Dam Square which reaches over 20 metres into the sky!

Amsterdam is great for Christmas shopping. Whether it’s luxury shopping in the museum district, spotting some vintage finds in the Negen Straatjes area or hitting the mainstream shops on the Kalverstraat in the heart of the city, there are some unique Christmas gifts to be found. Don’t miss the festive markets to find hand crafted goods and local produce.

After spending up to 5 hours in the Dutch capital, groups will return to the ship via the inclusive transfer for more entertainment on the return crossing. They will be welcomed onboard with another glass of fizz and an evening meal will be served in the Explorer’s Restaurant followed by after dinner coffee in the Columbus Club. The selection of bars onboard cater for all tastes so passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy the live entertainment. As the evening folds into night, the onboard Columbus Club keeps going for dancing until the early hours. Or for a spot of festive sparkle, why not head out on deck for some stargazing into the inky skies above the North Sea?

The following morning, a buffet breakfast will be waiting for groups to enjoy before they disembark with happy memories of their festive trip.

With an abundance of quality entertainment, delicious food and just a short walk back to the cabin at the end of the night, as well as a day spent exploring a beautiful European city, it’s a great option for groups of friends, family or a workplace wanting a Christmas party with a difference.
