Visit the DFDS stand, 018, to discover the latest prices and sailing schedules for the award-winning ferry operator’s services to France and The Netherlands.

DFDS offers a high-quality service for group travel and coach operators on its ferry routes from Dover to France, Newhaven to Dieppe, as well as Newcastle to Amsterdam.

On the Channel, DFDS sails from Dover to both Calais and Dunkirk. These two routes offer tour operators and coach customers flexible and convenient entry points into Continental Europe, with excellent road links from both ports to France, Belgium, The Netherlands and beyond.

DFDS Dover-Dunkirk route

DFDS sails up to 24 times a day between Dover and Dunkirk, with key city destinations such as Lille and Bruges at around an hour’s drive from the port, which also benefits from excellent road connections.

DFDS operates a dedicated coach check-in lane to help improve the flow of coach traffic in the Port of Dunkirk for added convenience.

DFDS Dover-Calais route

DFDS launched its Dover to Calais service in February 2012, which runs alongside the Dunkirk service. With up to 20 sailings a day between Dover and Calais, coach operators can take advantage of the additional flexibility and frequency of cross Channel sailings​ this service provides.

DFDS Newhaven-Dieppe route

DFDS’ operates daily sailings between Newhaven and Dieppe. This convenient route provides direct access from the south of England to France’s beautiful Normandy coast, in just four hours. Onboard facilities include a restaurant, which provides hot and cold meals, reclining seats, as well as comfortable cabins, available at just a small extra cost.

DFDS Newcastle-Amsterdam route

DFDS offers a daily service between Newcastle and Amsterdam on its cruise ferries. Departing at 5pm each evening, this overnight service has a range of onboard facilities and entertainment, as well as comfortable cabins, allowing you to truly relax onboard and wake up refreshed the next day for your onward journey to Amsterdam or beyond.

Onboard facilities and high quality service

DFDS offers a high quality service at competitive coach rates. All DFDS’ ferries are equipped with a range of high quality onboard facilities, including a shop, where passengers can pick up travel essentials such as adapter plugs and toiletries, as well as wine, beer and perfumes at 20% discount on recommended retail prices (RRP). There is also a selection of bars and restaurants.

The Dover-France vessels are also well equipped for the coach drivers and tour managers, who are able to take advantage of the dedicated trade-only Road Kings restaurant and lounge areas. These lounges provide a comfortable place to relax and unwind, giving drivers time to rest. They can also enjoy a delicious hot meal onboard and make use of the modern, onboard shower facilities. Complimentary tea and coffee is also available for coach drivers throughout the crossing.

The cruise ferries on the Newcastle to Amsterdam route are equipped with a range of onboard entertainment and eateries, offering everything from fine dining in the à la carte restaurant, the  Blue Riband, to the 7 Seas all-you-can-eat buffet. We also have an extensive hot and cold breakfast selection and a cafe serving snacks, pastries and hot drinks.
