What else is on…

There are also flying, driving and walking tours that discuss the real event. Make sure to stop by the Movie Exhibition to look at costumes and sets used during filming. Book a table at Princess Elizabeth, a ship that was part of the evacuations in 1940, with a specially-prepared Dunkirk menu. The British Cemetery, a tribute to the several thousand soldiers whose graves are unknown, also makes for a poignant walk. Don’t forget the famous beaches where it all took place. Malo-les-Bains coastline and pier saw immense battles as the evacuations took place. Take a walk and try to imagine the scenes from May and June 1940.
