The Venice of the North
With 100km of canals, 90 islands and 1,500 bridges, it’s no surprise Amsterdam has come to be seen as the Venice of the North.
Relax on a 1 hour canal cruise with Lovers, taking in the beautiful scenery and striking architecture. You’ll see stunning merchant’s houses and fantastic façades that have stood for centuries. Then head to Café Karpershoek, the oldest bar in Amsterdam, for your choice of beer, wine, gin or a soft drink.
Amsterdam is renowned for its diversity and countless activities to do while you’re there. Check out any of the museums and galleries that you’ll find on every corner of Amsterdam. There’s plenty of shopping to be done in Nine Streets, or if you fancy a few more drinks, head to a traditional brown café. Don’t forget to get a picture with your favourite celebrity in Madame Tussauds before you go!
