Amsterdam in summer

Amsterdam is a wonderful place is all seasons, but in the summer, when it’s in full bloom, it’s simply beautiful. Hire some bikes and cycle the city like the locals or why not enjoy a canal cruise and discover the city from its famous waterways? Have a picnic in one of the city’s parks or soak up the sun on one of Amsterdam’s urban beaches. Vondlepark is particularly beautiful during the summer and Dok is a great family friendly beach in the west of Amsterdam. There are also plenty of museums to visit, including Anne Frank House, Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum and Madame Tussauds. A visit to Amsterdam isn’t complete without trying some of the famous Dutch pancakes too!
