Brussels Christmas markets
Brussels’ famous Winter Wonders market takes place every year at Christmas and has been hailed as Europe’s most original Christmas Market. The market includes stalls from all over Europe, an ice-rink, a big wheel and a sound and light show. Pick up gifts including children’s toys, traditional food, leather-work and other handicrafts and ensure you give the most interesting presents this Christmas. The city also hosts Winter Wonder activities including street entertainment, music, a magnificent fir tree and a huge Ferris wheel.
Belgium’s vibrant capital is a city of Art Nouveau heritage, excellent shopping and fine restaurants. Brussels is rapidly becoming one of Europe’s favourite weekend getaway spots, and a centre for European culture, which is fitting given its position as the home of European politics. The city has over 90 museums, beautiful parks and walks and trendy bars, as well as classic Belgian attractions... chocolate, chips and beer!
